Affiliate Disclosure

Honest about how we make money — and why commission never changes what we recommend.

FTC compliance: This site participates in affiliate programs. In accordance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we clearly disclose every paid relationship that could influence the content, links, or recommendations on this site.

🔗 What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a regular URL to a product page that includes a tiny tracking tag unique to us. If you click one of those links on MotoStash and end up buying something from that retailer, the retailer pays us a small commission — usually a few percent of the sale — at no extra cost to you.

That's the model. It doesn't change your price. It doesn't change the product. It just means we get a slice when a recommendation turns into a sale. We're disclosing it because the FTC requires us to, and because we'd rather you know.

🎯 How this affects recommendations

It doesn't. Our editorial picks are independent of any affiliate relationship, and the standard hasn't changed: would we stake our own skin on it at 70 mph? If the answer is no, it doesn't make the cut.

We will never promote a product just because it pays a higher commission. We will never bury a recommendation that pays nothing. The rider-first criteria — fit, protection, durability, real-world testing — come first, every time. If a piece of gear isn't good enough to ride in ourselves, it isn't good enough to recommend, whether someone pays us to talk about it or not.

The buying guides, the curated shop, the product reviews, the gear categories — all of it is written and ordered by the same rule. Affiliate links, where they appear, are added after the editorial decision is made.

🤝 Current partners

We're actively pursuing qualifying partnerships with reputable motorcycle gear retailers, but as of this writing:

None at this time. MotoStash has not yet been approved for any external affiliate program. We maintain this page in advance of those approvals because we believe disclosures should exist before any paid link ships, not after — and because you'll be the first to know exactly when a partner comes on board.

When partners are added, they'll be listed here by name, and every affiliate link on the site will be tagged with rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer" so crawlers, browsers, and you can all see exactly which links are paid and which aren't.
